1 – Modern Lighting Ideas – THOMAS HOLT FLAME TREE

Jackson Teece was tasked with developing the plan strategy for the rebuilding of the Residential Aged Care facility at Thomas Holt, Kirrawee, which was completed in 2018.

The reconstruction at Thomas Holt provided a high-quality RACF to the local community, providing a wonderful chance for design and public needs to cross. The design is a modern yet thoughtful response to the site and surrounding built environment. Finally, the building’s adaptability and amenities ensure that it will be an asset to the community for many years to come.

2- Modern Lighting Ideas – SOUTHPOINT

Southpoint is a large Transit-Oriented Development located on Brisbane’s South Bank.
Jackson Teece supplied services such as master planning, urban design, architecture, heritage, and interior design.

Each of the three-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bathroom residences offers spectacular city views over the Brisbane River. These flats’ finishes reflect this lower price range while yet creating a sense of luxury.

3- Modern Lighting Ideas – ANGLICARE WOOLOOWARE SHORES

Anglicare presently operates the Woolooware Shores retirement town on the nearby Taren Point land, south of Sydney, NSW.
The interior design team’s comprehensive and integrated approach was intrinsic to the project.

The Interior Design of the Residential Aged Care Facility is inspired by its seaside environment, with soothing colours of blue and driftwood. The handmade inlaid carpet in the reception room is inspired by ocean waves, while the curved millwork shapes are inspired by sand dunes’ undulating hills. Its lamps have a rustic touch to them.

This beautiful apartment complex is situated on a prominent corner of Dulwich Hill in Sydney. A captivating northern aspect and views of Sydney’s CBD give a meditative respite from daily life.

All of the apartments have a beautifully textured material palette and artisanal finishes. Limestone or stained wood flooring are combined with bronze metal mirrors and handcrafted bathroom tiles to create a contemporary yet heritage atmosphere in these modern living spaces. The Zhengzhou Senior Living Community Project is a competition for the design of 3,000 new Independent Living Units, Residential Elderly Care Facilities, a Clubhouse, and a Hospital.
Jackson Teece’s design is inspired by the rivers, valleys, and mountains of Hunan, which surround Zhengzhou and have long served as the centre of this province’s rich culture.

The site’s entrance is positioned near the central road halfway. The lighting of the entrance lobby is modern, and its golden tones bring elegance to this space.

6- Modern Lighting Ideas – PHOENIX RESTAURANT

Jackson Teece was hired to adapt the established brand presence of Sydney’s Phoenix Restaurants to the Brisbane environment.
The interior design creates an appealing and gloomy atmosphere by using a strong Chinese palette of red, black, and gold. The pendant clusters’ red glow is reminiscent of Chinese lanterns, and dark-stained timber dowels encircle and protect the area in a manner reminiscent of China’s towering bamboo trees.

The 20-seat private dining room offers an elite dining experience with a full-height, book-matched Calacatta marble wall, bespoke velvet sofa, and feature pendant lighting. These complexities conjure up images of a hidden and refined Chinese eating experience.

7- Modern Lighting Ideas – 5 GEORGE STREET BLACKTOWN

Jackson Teece delivered a stunning interior design for two new towers in the heart of Blacktown CBD.

Using monochromátic finishes, the language of the residential entrance and the commercial lobby is inextricably linked to sculpture and the architectural palette.

8- Modern Lighting Ideas – PARK COURT SHIBUYA

Nestled among the hyper-active streets of Shibuya, Tokyo, this 39-story apartment skyscraper offers a welcome respite from the chaos of the streets below.
Jackson Teece has undertaken the task of creating a representation of Japan’s natural heritage in the middle of the world’s greatest metropolis.

A pure white palette is accentuated with natural materials such as wood, marble, and brushed nickel, and is inspired by Japan’s rolling alpine areas. In the hopes of inspiring future occupants, its minimalism serves as a canvas, challenging people inside to make it their own. The pendant light utilized in this kitchen is modern in style and stands out in this room.

9- Modern Lighting Ideas – ANGLICAN CARE KILPATRICK COURT

Anglican Care’s Toronto location provides a tranquil setting focused on welfare and happiness.

The lakeside complex features an 80-bed nursing facility and self-care townhouses. Central public spaces juxtapose warm grained wood with gentle yet uplifting turquoise accents, taking ideas from the pop of mid-century interior design. This subdued colour scheme pours out onto the surrounding native trees and lake, instilling a sense of openness and freedom.

10- Modern Lighting Ideas – CARRINGTON CARE PALING COURT

Jackson Teece was tasked with designing a high-end, 132-bed residential care facility that would appeal to a more discerning clientele.
With such a large area, the accommodation has been organized around three unique courtyard spaces, each with its own individual personality. The centre courtyard has a ‘classic’ cloister as a planted framing for the existing heritage-significant Grasmere Cottages.

The design is centred on creating a pleasant and welcoming experience through excellent settings with plenty of natural light, cross-ventilation, and distant vistas.
