The design pays homage to the Parisians’ appreciation of excellent meals and pleasant moments in the company of beautiful things. Artisanal stations, such as charcuterie, Garde manger, bread, and patisserie, provide liveliness and credibility to the space.

The interior and brand design for two contemporary F&B establishments at the Four Seasons Westlake Village were handled by EDG. Coin & Candor is a modern California brasserie that serves wood-fired cuisine and locally sourced products. This all-day, indoor-outdoor facility embodies California elegance and attitude; its name is derived from the narrative of LA real estate entrepreneur and hospitality aficionado David Murdock.

Headlands Coastal Lodge & Spa, located on the rocky Oregon coast, is a one-of-a-kind location for the adventurous visitors. The resort promotes Oregon hospitality by providing tourists with luxurious facilities set against the background of sand-dune mountains and the famed Haystack Rock. The design incorporates the surrounding landscape with a Pacific City look and feel.

A roaring wood fire and a communal serpentine leather sofa greet guests, and the lodge-like atmosphere extends into the bar and dining room. In the summer, a wide corner sunroom opens to give a bright view of the Pacific, and you can see and smell the cedar and fir that comprise the space’s backbone.
