In order to create a certain kind of visual effects of fantasy, the lamps are divided into two types: one is the warm yellow colour light of 3000K, the other is the adjustable lamps for totally different colours. Different from conventional methods, we adopt the vertical installation method, making them combined with the vertical rib of the curtain wall.
Observed from the facade of the exterior, all the lamps are concealed. Of course, it also poses us with the difficulty to maximize anti-glaring effect in an indoor environment. In addition, a large number of materials in the room are stainless steel plates with various reflectivity and texture, which add more difficulties to us.
For the Fuorisalone (Milan Design Week) 2019 the Swiss bag manufacturer FREITAG collaborated with video and light artist Georg Lendorff to create a unique experience. UNFLUENCER – DE-SINNING THE DESIGNER was shown as part of the prestigious Ventura Centrale exhibition in arches under the Milano Centrale station.
Entering the exhibition, visitors were first invited to experience a light installation by Georg Lendorff. A transparent video sculpture floating in the centre of the arch. Visitors could walk into the volume of light and images to encounter a highly immersive and fascinating sensation. After a few steps, they faded into the installation, losing all sense of space and time and becoming themselves a part of the installation.

Inspired by the minimalistic brand’s philosophy, I IN designed space with minimal elements emphasised by monochrome colour and light. The workspace and the presentation areas are outlined by two identical layouts on two different floors.
Each entrance with a contrasting space creates different feeling between the front and back of the rooms, representing the character of each working space they occupy. Different lighting design for each floor allows for an effect like a three-dimensional composition of lines enhancing the textured surfaces of the jet-black wood, distributed throughout the space.
